Job Description

The Marketing and Press Coordinator will lead the creation and delivery of Arts Collective’s marketing, communications and digital content across press, social media, website, print and other public-facing platforms. Working within the organisation’s communications strategy, the postholder will help increase the visibility of Arts Collective’s programme, support audience development and strengthen engagement with artists, communities and partners. They will monitor and evaluate marketing and press activity to inform future campaigns and ensure the organisation reaches diverse audiences locally, regionally and nationally.

Hours of work: 2.5 days a week (18.75 hours) Salary on appointment: £14,625 (£29,250 Full Time Equivalent £15 per hour). Location: 24 Guildhall Road, Northampton NN1 1DP. This can be a hybrid position, but we would ask for a commitment of 2 days a week in Northampton and attendance at our events.

Job Requirements

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate – Experience in design, marketing and content creation – Experience in creating communication plans and strategies – Knowledge of social media best practices and the ability to use social media platforms and ticketing systems – Skills in using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva – Excellent written and spoken communication skills – An ability to be a self-reliant team player, who is positive and flexible – A commitment to accessibility and inclusion
