Arts Centre Melbourne has picked a winner: Einstein on the Beach has snagged the Olivier Award for Best New Opera Production.

The highly anticipated restage of Einstein on the Beach: An Opera in Four Acts, is the flagship production for Arts Centre Melbourne in 2013 with interstate visitors expected to flock to Melbourne in July for the production, staged to coincide with the National Gallery of Victoria’s Winter Masterpiece exhibition, Monet’s Garden.
