Job Description

OVERVIEW Location: 64 Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 3JH Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00am-6:00pm Full time, on-site Reports to: Managing Director, London

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Drive sales across the gallery’s program, including exhibitions, art fairs and represented artists Develop new business opportunities across the gallery’s wider commercial program and initiatives Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective collectors and clients Proactively develop new clients and sales opportunities through networking, outreach and relationship building Manage and follow up client enquiries, leads and ongoing sales opportunities Develop a strong understanding of clients’ interests and provide tailored recommendations and proposals Arrange and conduct client meetings, gallery visits and private viewings Maintain a strong knowledge of the gallery’s artists, exhibitions and available works, as well as the wider art market Maintain accurate client and sales records within the gallery CRM Prepare relevant sales and client documentation as required Work collaboratively with the wider gallery team to support the gallery’s program and commercial objectives Meet and exceed individual sales and business development targets

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS Previous sales or business development experience within Contemporary Art, the Luxury Market or other high-end client-facing environment Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills Able to provide a high level of service to collectors and clients Strong interest in contemporary art Flexibility to work additional hours for exhibitions, gallery events and other occasions as required

DESIRABLE BA or MA in Art History or a related field Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems (Artlogic or similar) Additional language skills Experience working across multiple gallery locations
