Job Requirements
Person Specification
Experience facilitating or assisting in drama, theatre or participatory settings
Experience supporting project administration, coordination and logistics
Excellent verbal communication, writing and IT skills
Strong organisation and time management skills
Understanding of current safeguarding legislation and good practice
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends, as required
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of creative engagement activity with young people and communities across Icon’s programmes, including Youth Theatre, Youth Club, community projects, holiday programmes (including HAF), Creative Council, schools’ workshops and Open Stage our adults theatre group.
Assist with facilitation of sessions, workshops, rehearsals and events, helping participants to build confidence, creativity, communication and performance skills.
Help create safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces, including set-up/pack-down and the safe management of resources and materials.
Build positive relationships with participants, supporting engagement, wellbeing and access needs.
Maintain registers, attendance information and session notes, and support communications with participants and parents/carers where appropriate.
Support safeguarding in line with Icon’s policies and procedures
