What's On

Hundred Years Gallery

Hundred Years Gallery is delighted to present an exhibition by artists selected from our Open Call 2019.

Artists were invited to submit work exploring the theme of 'change, for better or worse, for richer or poorer', reflecting particularly on the past decade, or on predictions for the next. The theme of change has been interpreted in many ways. There are obvious associations with current social, political and cultural events, but it is not limited to only these aspects.

The exhibition includes artists working with a range of media, including all forms of fine art, photography, audio installation, video production, small-scale sculpture and performance art. We intend to present a vibrant, diverse and multi-media exhibition that fills our walls and minds with many perspectives and creative visions.

The gallery exhibition will be accomanied by a program of music and performance. The exhibition will run for 2 weeks with performance and video showcases taking place on Thursdays and on the closing Sunday.

Additionally we will create a digital version of the gallery, which will preserve the artwork and also make it possible to share and continue the exhibition online and into the future. We are collaborating with Curat10n to make this possible.
