House Opera – Electric Nights is a self-funded three-act electronic opera inspired by house music, contemporary vocal performance and club culture. We are inviting visual artists, illustrators and designers worldwide to create the project’s visual identity, including album artwork and related visual materials. We are looking for original, conceptually strong responses to the themes explored by the project rather than literal illustrations of the music. Full details, submission guidelines and an instrumental version of the album are available on our website.

Submissions will be reviewed by a jury consisting of Maja Šimić, Leonarda Kurtov and Kristina Banden, with entries evaluated on conceptual strength, originality and artistic quality.

Who can apply: Open internationally to visual artists, illustrators, graphic designers and multidisciplinary creatives at any career stage. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Individual artists and artist collectives are welcome. No specific educational background or nationality is required.

What you get: The selected artist will receive a €400 commission and retain full copyright ownership of their work. The winning visual identity will become part of the official album release, media campaign, project website and future exhibitions associated with House Opera – Electric Nights. Selected participants will gain international exposure through project partners, media coverage and promotional activities.
