Klub ZAK announces The SOLO DANCE CONTEST 2024. The Contest will take place during the 16th Gdansk Dance Festival from 26th to 30th of August 2024. The competition is aimed at Polish and international professional dancers, who are at least 18 years old. Application should be submitted by 4 PM on 17th of May. Submitted works will be judged by a preselection commitee. Shortlisted solos will be shown during the main competition and judged by an international jury of acomplished dancers and experts in the fieled of contemporary dance. The total prize pool is 6,000 EUR. During the competition, an audience prize of 500 EUR will be awarded, and the remaining 5,500 EUR will be distributed by the jury among the winners.
