Welsh youngsters find nothing wrong with belonging in a museum

For 617 young adults from five Welsh valleys, summer has been a busy time.

The project On Common Ground (OCG) has just completed the latest phase of 55 projects that involved young people between the ages of fourteen and 24, with the aim of showing them that museums don’t have to be the stuffy places they’re cracked up to be.

The groups from Rhondda Cynon Taff, Ceredigion, Swansea, Caerphilly and Torfaen developed original ideas and worked alongside experienced artists in exploring Welsh heritage and culture.
