It’s not every day arts establishments urge spectators to get up close and personal and feel the art work. However a collaboration between Goldsmiths, University of London, St Dunstan’s, a charity for blind ex-Service men and women, and the Victoria & Albert Museum sees the bringing together of international artists, academics and museum and gallery staff for an innovative two-day conference. Taking place at the V&A, In Touch with Art aims to empower arts organisations and practitioners to creatively engage with blind and partially blind people through the visual arts.
