Over the weekend, a performance of Mike Daisey’s monologue Invincible Summer was disrupted when 87 members of a Christian group got up and walked out of the show en masse, one of them stopping in front of the desk behind which Daisey sat and dumping water all over his script before leaving.

Daisey describes the brouhaha in his blog, and provides video of the incident in a YouTube embed (below). He also delivers a kind of rebuttal, though what it was in his monologue that offended the protesters remains a mystery, as they have not yet identified themselves nor articulated their concerns.
