Twenty-five local artists will be taking part in the upcoming Harare International Arts festival  (HIFA) after being selected to undergo training which will allow them to produce artifacts of high quality to present at the festival which kicks off on 30 April.

‘Artists should not exhibit their pieces just for the sake of showcasing; they should produce quality products that would market them to scouts. As HIFA, we want to facilitate growth to our local artistes by training them on how to produce good products,’ HIFA executive director Maria Wilson told The Herald.
