Painter and sculptor Enrico David will open his first major exhibition at the ICA this month as part of The ICA’s commitment to feature solo exhibitions that review artists work early on in their career. David, born in Italy now working in London, uses a variety of mediums in his work including textiles and embroidery, paintings, installations and sculptures in a wide range of pieces. David’s work has strong links with performance and theatre and is influenced by his interests in the structure of design, often using erotic and tragic comic figures within his work.
