Egypt’s censorship office has granted permission for a screening of the award-winning documentary Jews of Egypt, set to take place in Cairo earlie this week.

The film was previously banned from being shown in Egypt, but this decision has been revised, much to the joy of the film’s director Amir Ramses who believes that the ministry’s change of heart is down to the large amount of public protest surrounding the issue.
