NYC to pay more than $365,000 to Occupy Wall Street Library

The City of New York will pay more than $365,000 USD to settle a lawsuit with the Occupy Wall Street Library for the destruction of their resources.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) raided Zuccotti Park on 15 November 2011, completely evacuating the Occupy Wall Street movement and destroying many of their resources, most notably the Occupy Wall Street Library, a free, open-air library associated with the movement.
