Irish Arts Council announces support for a summer

The Arts Council of Ireland has announced details of successful recipients under round two of the Small Festivals Scheme for 2011.

A total of €437,709 has been awarded to 81 festivals and events throughout the country. This funding, which will help animate and breathe life into communities throughout the country, is aimed at small locally-based events and festivals, and ranges from the Irish Composition Summer School in Donegal to Skibbereen Arts Festival in Cork.
