Great Britain Arts 13 unveiled

GREAT Britain Arts 13 is a year-long celebration of UK art and culture. Australians will have the opportunity to experience the very best of UK’s vibrant arts scene through 13 major events.

 

We spoke to British Council Australia’s Country Director Nick Marchand to learn more about this unique blockbuster initiative that has brought us landmark exhibitions such as Francis Bacon: Five Decades at the Art Gallery of NSW, Anish Kapoor at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art, and will see National Theatre’s acclaimed production of One Man, Two Guvnors and a major new exhibition by British icon Tacita Dean at Melbourne’s Australian Centre for Contemporary Art.
