Defying piracy: a Wicked campaign

The Broadway composer of touring musical Wicked, has begun a campaign against the digital distribution of his stolen sheet music.

With Wicked about to begin touring up the east coast of Australia, thousands of wannabees will be looking for the sheet music to reproduce some of Broadway’s most successful melodies of recent years.

But the composer of the Broadway smash Stephen Schwartz is angry many of them will not pay for privilege. He has begun a campaign against illegal digital sheet music sharing, copyright infringement and piracy.
