Chinese artist Zhang Bingjian is making a statement with his latest project: a Hall of Fame – or Shame – containing portraits of Chinese officials convicted for corruption. The portraits are painted in the same pink as China’s 100-yuan bill, which still bears dictator Mao Zedong’s face. Zhang has so far commissioned 1600 portraits of corrupt officials, with no plans to stop until corruption in China ceases.
