New York arts exec to head up Create NSW as CEO

Elizabeth W. Scott has been named Executive Director, Create NSW, heading up the State’s peak arts and screen organisation.

Elizabeth W. Scott was today (27 July) named as Executive Director, Create Investment and Engagement, replacing Michael Brealey who resigned in March.  She will head the NSW Government’s peak arts body.

From the United States, she has a double major in music and history from Brown University with a special interest in conducting. She then went to the University of Chicago Law School, graduated in 1994 and practiced IP and entertainment law.
