The J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO), founded by Sean Penn, will receive a $8.75 million grant to help rehouse victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. The grant is being provided by the World Bank, and is expected to help 14,000 homeless people who have been living on a private golf course for the last three years.
