Iranian national symphony orchestra disbanded after running out of funding.

Iran’s Tehran Symphony Orchestra has been disbanded after running out of funds. Orchestra members told the ILNA news agency on Monday that they had not rehearsed together and had not been paid for three months, with the New York Times linking this to Iran’s economic mismanagement and Western sanctions over its nuclear development program.
