The National Geographic has announced the winners of its 2013 Photo Competition, with photographer Wagner Araujo taking home the top prize.

Araujo won the competition, now in its 25th year, with his image Dig Me River, of the Brazil Aquathlon, which he took in Manaus, Amazonas. He beat out 15,000 entries to take home the top accolade: a 10-day expedition for two to the Galápagos aboard the National Geographic Endeavour.
