The world’s largest non-commercial art exhibition officially opens this weekend and the buzz about who not to miss in this United Nations of exhibitions is already dominating arts media outlets worldwide.

This year Australian Commissioner Simon Mordant and the panel have chosen Simryn Gill to represent Australia, an artist who was selected both for her international rigor, her national following and her diverse body of work.
