Turkey unveils pavilion for Venice Biennale

The 55th Venice Biennale is just around the corner and Turkey has unveiled the plans for its 2013 pavilion.

Turkey has had a rich history of participating in the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition, having contributed to each biennale since 1991 and inaugurating its very first pavilion in 2003.

This year, Turkey has announced that its pavilion will present the work of artist Ali Kazma. Titled ‘Resistance’, Kazma’s work is video series which examines the discourses, techniques and management tactics of the body while exploring the interventions and strategies that are used to release and control it.
