Organisers of The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) have revealed plans of joining forces with Sotheby’s in order to host an art and antiques fair in China.

The event, which has been named TEFAF Beijing, will take place sometime in 2014 and has been planned as a collaboration between the European Fine Art Fair, which takes place in Maastricht in The Netherlands, and Sotheby’s recently forged venture with China’s state-owned Beijing Ge-Hua Cultural Development Group.
