Job Description

Award-winning creative arts organisation Heart n Soul is looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager (Maternity Cover). This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong project management skills who would like to be part of a small, friendly and fun team, making great art and music happen.

They will be responsible for the project management of Heart n Soul’s young people’s activity including Do Your Own Thing, our flagship creative arts project for young people, plus some artist development and touring.

They must have demonstrable experience of working with young people with learning disabilities in the arts sector. Plus managing positive working relationships and supporting others to thrive.

This role is for a minimum of 10 months, subject to the return of the postholder. It will also be a hybrid position.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable professional experience working with people with learning disabilities, ideally in the arts sector
• Demonstrable ability to adapt to change and to innovate
• Clear track record in building and managing positive working relationships and supporting others to achieve results
• Clear track record in project management
• An understanding of and commitment to Equal Opportunities principles and practice
