The Operations Manager is a key role overseeing, managing and supporting the customer-facing operation across both venues and the Festival.

Job Description

The Operations Manager oversees the front of house team in delivering on our bars, caf offering, and audience welcome. The role has lots of potential to make a positive impact on Wiltshire Creative with a focus on commercial revenue development and audience experience across the organisation.

Job Requirements

• Previous management experience in a customer-facing environment, preferably in either theatre, events, or hospitality venues
• Leadership and people management skills, with substantial line management experience
• Experience of developing / implementing revenue generation schemes
• Experience of recruiting and training casual staff
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with current Health and Safety legislation relevant to the role
• Ability to excel under pressure and multi-task within a team
• Computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel and online rostering software
• The ability to plan strategically whilst maintaining day to day operations
• Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets
• Proven interest in theatre and the arts
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis
• Event management experience
