Person Specification Essential Experience in a similar maintenance or technician role, preferably within facilities or building operations. Basic understanding of UK building regulations and health and safety requirements. Technical qualifications or certifications are a plus, such as: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in plumbing, electrical systems, or building services. Previous experience of working within a public-facing premises Comfortable working as part of a small team collaboratively, and working autonomously with minimal supervision Demonstrable experience of completing building maintenance tasks Good understanding of the safe and effective use of power and hand tools Able to multi-task, work to deadlines, identify priorities and prioritise work with competing demands. A ‘can do’ approach and positive relationship building skills across departments Able to use initiative and find pragmatic solutions Demonstrable continuous improvement approach to work IT literacy, with good experience of the Microsoft Office suite. (Training will be given on software programs as required.) Awareness of environmental sustainability
