Kiwis take off in Edinburgh

With one week left at Edinburgh Fringe, New Zealand is showing the world why being tucked away geographically isn’t such a bad thing – especially when it comes to the arts.

Two years in the making, the first-ever New Zealand season at the Edinburgh Festival is showcasing Kiwis as leaders in innovative dance, literature and theatre, many of which incorporate Maori and Pacific Island culture into edgy and powerful performances.
