More people went to Vivid than live in Adelaide

Vivid Sydney breaks its 2013 attendance and sets a new record defining this festival of light, music and ideas internationally.

Destination NSW has announced this week that Vivid Sydney drew more than 1.43 million people to this year’s 18 day festival of light, music and ideas.

‘Vivid Sydney attracted 79 % more attendees in 2014, with the total number exceeding the population of Adelaide and surpassing the total number of international tourists to Fiji last year,’ said NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism and Major Events Andrew Stoner.
