— FREE TASTER CLASS —
Never heard of forró? Think salsa, but with a Brazilian twist!
No previous dance experience is required and you do not need to bring a partner.
There are 2 levels of classes:
- 19:30-20:15 – Beginner
- 20:15-21:15 – Intermediate
If it’s your first class with Forró Academy, you may be able to book a taster class for FREE by booking in advance via Eventbrite. (Please note that only a limited number of free taster places are available for each class.)
— PARTY (live band & DJ) —
Following the classes there will be a party, with live forró music and a DJ set. Entry to the party is free if you attend one of the dance classes beforehand.
— THE VENUE —
Tia Maria Bar and Kitchen (www.tiamarialondon.com) is a well-known hub for Brazilian culture in London. As well as as hosting a variety of Brazil-related events, the venue serves up delicious Brazilian food 7 days a week and is a popular meeting place for the Brazilian community and anyone interested in Brazilian culture.
