A celebration of older choreographers.
Following from previous years’ performances at the Royal Academy of Dance’s Studio Theatre and The Place Theatre London, Critical Moment returns, this time to The Bridewell, with even more choreographers and talented performers.
All the dance makers are over 60 years old – a demographic which is critically under-represented in dance performance, and whose creative voices, therefore, are more likely to remain unheard. The new works they produce will be inspired by a critical moment – conveying a message of importance, urgency or challenge. They examine how we act, hesitate or agitate when enough is enough.
