Make a solo performance Course
Do you still want to make theatre during Covid-19?
This "Make a solo performance Course" is a space to learn dramaturgy and devising methodologies to explore new ways to make theatre during Covid-19.
The Course is a mix of theoretical and practical sessions where you will learn dramaturgical devising, how to build a character, and how to use research methodology to make experimental and bold performances.
FOCUS OF THE COURSE:
Devise narrative structures and find new storytelling methods. We interweave content and form, by exploring the arc of a story, the driving forces, characters and archetypes, and by creating a physical language that unifies the story.
BUILDING A CHARACTER
“The methodology of Mask and Counter Mask” is a physical theatre technique we teach performers to study and build their character.
RESEARCH LED PROCESS.
Participants will undertake theoretical and practical research to create new work and we will support them in exploring alternative ways and mediums to make theatre during Covid-19: (digital, outdoor, intimate performances…)
