This is an informal workshop to support makers and designers help decide whether exporting; selling and working overseas is a feasible option for them and their businesses.

We will help you start to initiate a plan of action; outline the logistics involved and the next steps we recommend you take to start your export strategy.

  • Case study one - Talk from Silva Kamodyova, Ceramic Artist, on her experience of exhibiting in Kuwait as part of an event organised by the World Crafts Council Europe.
  • Case study two - Talk from Majeda Clarke, textiles designer and her experience of visiting NYNow 2019 to research to see if this is a feasible market for her products.
  • Case Study three - Talk from May Wild, on their experience of visiting Formland Spring, a relatively new interior design fair in Denmark.
