HEAD OF FINANCE AND BUSINESS

HEAD OF FINANCE AND BUSINESS

Groundbreaking theatre company Clean Break is seeking a new Head of Finance & Business to lead the company’s financial planning management and drive earned income generation. A woman with an entrepreneurial approach and experience of charity finance, alongside leading the finance team, this role will work across teams and projects to promote an entrepreneurial approach to income generation through the programme and company assets.

This strategic role is a member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the new Leadership Team: Anna Herrmann, Erin Gavaghan & Róisín McBrinn to deliver an ambitious programme that amplifies the voices of women through theatre. Together with Senior Management colleagues, the Head of Finance & Business will model positive leadership to foster a culture of productivity, creativity, communication and collaboration within the organisation.

Equity and fairness are core values at Clean Break, which ensures that the diversity of our team is a priority. We strongly believe that your lived experience is a vital part of who you are and enhances what you bring to a professional setting. We actively encourage women from a variety of backgrounds with a cross section of skills, experiences and narratives to extend and develop how we work. We are particularly interested to hear from women of colour and women who are underrepresented in the theatre sector and, as ever at Clean Break, if you have personal experience of the criminal justice system and can demonstrate that you meet the essential criteria, you will be invited for interview.

If you share our interest in and commitment to social justice, women’s voices being heard, and theatre we’d be delighted to hear from you.

In line with our policy and practice, the positions are open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1), and subject to a DBS check. Applications are actively encouraged from black and minority ethnic women.  Applicants who state they have personal experience of the criminal justice system or are disabled, who meet the essential person specification, will be guaranteed an interview.
