Random Acts of Art is a two month residency taking place from 6 March 2010 - 1 May 2010 at Spacex.

This spring Spacex will become a site for production, commissioning three UK-based artists to develop projects in response to the socially and historically rich context of Exeter's West Quarter, where the gallery is located.

During a two month residency the invited artists Amy Feneck, Lady Lucy and Volkhardt Muller will be facilitating collaborative encounters and conversations with people who live in Fore Street and the surrounding area.

During this time the gallery will be closed from 21 February until 24 April 2010, whilst the artists take up residency at Spacex. The end of the residencies will be marked by a public exhibition and a week long series of artist-led events, taking place from 24 April–1 May.

These events will all be free of charge and some will require booking in advance - further details will follow, please see updates on Spacex's website.

Spacex will still be open for childrens' activities and several events for adults during the period 21 February–1 May 2010.
