MEDIA RELEASE COURTESY: Sculpture by the Sea
Following the popular and critical response to the first Sculpture by the Sea, Aarhus, including an estimated 500,000 visitors, the beautiful City of Aarhus in Denmark is staging a second Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in June 2011.
To feature approximately 60 sculptures by artists from around the world the exhibition site runs along the bay at Aarhus and into the forest that is right next to the beach. The diversity of locations for sculptures is a key feature of the exhibition and includes the beach, the forest with its great winding track, in the sea and the park land next to the sea.
