MEDIA RELEASE COURTESY OF: Sell a Door Theatre Company
One day you wake up, and instead of a hangover, you have a job. Instead of a fling, you have a live-in girlfriend. And instead of naive dreams, you only have reality. The little joys and compromises that bring us into adulthood are brought to life in this dynamic musical featuring all new songs from Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham.
Salzman and Cunningham’s first musical I Love You Because, written as their final practical assessment while at University, became an instant hit in both the States and the UK, it is now performed all over the world. Next Thing You Know, while not a sequel, begs the question “What happens after the happily ever after?” as experienced at the finale of their first show. Sell a Door are excited to join this writing duo for the European premier of their new musical.
Multi Award Winning Sell a Door Theatre Company, return to the Fringe following the success of last year’s festival with a string of London transfers and recent revivals. Sell a Door’s production of Falsettoland was the only musical to receive a Five Star rating from The Scotsman at the 2009 Fringe and the musical Six Ways was rated the number one must see musical at the 2009 Fringe by FringeReview. Formed by graduates of The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts the company has gone from strength to strength becoming renowned for its artistic quality and its capacity to deal with controversial subjects effectively.
