MEDIA RELEASE COURTESY OF: HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA
The Henley Royal Regatta commences on Wednesday 30 June and continues until Sunday 4 July 2010.
Experience this event in style at Voyager Events VIP Event at Bird Place in the heart of Henley.
Start the day off with delicious, freshly brewed tea or coffee accompanied by dainty morning pastries. Enjoy the grounds of this Tudor Mansion with its privileged riverside setting; be entertained by the Traditional Jazz playing on the Lawns and look forward to a day to remember.
"We all had a great time and the weather was glorious which always helps. I have to say the catering was one of the best I have experienced at such an event and of course the 2 trips on the boat helped make the day. Basically it delivered everything we expected!"
David Butcher - Imprima (UK) Ltd
During our optional morning trip you can view the racing course as we serve a Pimms, Bucks Fizz and Champagne reception on one of our elegant river vessels. Absorb the atmosphere and watch world-class racing at this most prestigious and enjoyable event.
Once we have returned to Bird Place, a mouth watering four-course lunch will be served to you in your exclusive marquee complemented by fine wines.
After lunch, take our afternoon trip upstream over the finish line, whilst taking in the views of Henley Town, then navigate past Rod Eyot. We will take in all of the Racing Course giving you the time to see the sights of Temple and the Stewards Enclosure before returning to Bird Place. A free bar is available for the full duration of the trip.
On our return to Bird Place, sample the pleasures of a British Strawberry & Cream Tea, which can either be enjoyed within your marquee or on the lawns and grounds of the Mansion house.
"The four of us had a great time ...we particularly enjoyed the boat trip - everybody was friendly and the drink flowed "copiously" with gorgeous sunshine flooding down on the whole proceeding. If I hadn't been married for 30 years I would have proposed all over again...but maybe that would have just been the champagne talking!"
Barry Casswell - Barclays Capital
