Actor David Morrissey will be at QUAD in Derby for his film debut & Q&A event and Industry Insights panel discussion and networking session

There will be a special film event with David Morrissey in conversation with a screening of his film Don't Worry About Me (cert tbc), followed by a Q&A, at QUAD in Derby. Presented in conjunction with BAFTA and EM Media, Don't Worry About Me (cert tbc) with David Morrissey in Conversation will take place at QUAD on Friday 26th February at 8:30pm.

David Morrissey is the twice BAFTA-nominated and highly acclaimed actor and Don't Worry About Me (cert tbc) is his directorial debut.

Don't Worry About Me (cert tbc) follows twentysomething London lad David, who travels up to Liverpool hoping to track down ‘the girl from last night’. After she gives him his marching orders, David finds himself walking the streets of a strange city with only some loose change in his pocket and a head full of nonsense. Don't Worry About Me (cert tbc) will be on general release later in the year.

David Morrissey will be in conversation with Nigel Powlson from The Derby Evening Telegraph following the screening and will be answering questions from the audience.

Industry Insights with David Morrissey is a QUAD Film Lounge Special which takes place on Friday 26th February at 7:00pm, but is now fully booked.

David Morrissey will be sharing his insights on the crucial relationship between actors and filmmakers and talking about his recent journey in adapting a play for his film.
