Creative Valentine's campaign from NZ refuge
A New Zealand women’s refuge has used Valentine ’s Day to release a creative campaign that gets to the heart of domestic violence.
The refuge, called simply ‘Women’s Refuge’ took traditional messages of love sent on Valentine’s Day and, through clever design, used sayings typically associated with abusive relationships to highlight the plight of many women are trapped within them.
The campaign uses the slogan “what looks like love can hide abuse”.
